- History, French language and civilization; law and political science; economics and management.
Study levels and scholarship duration
- Eligible French institutions nominate applicants for master’s qualifications, engineering degrees or a doctorate involving joint supervision or joint direction with an overseas partner.
- Funding can last up to twelve months for entry to the second master’s year, twenty-four months from the first year, or thirty-six months for an engineering degree.
- Doctoral funding can cover twelve to thirty-six months in France, according to the award letter.

- You may also seek study-planning guidance from Campus France in your country or the French embassy’s cooperation service.
- The French institution must accept and support your nomination and upload it to Campus France. Students and foreign institutions cannot submit a valid nomination directly.

- Award results are scheduled for the week beginning 12 April 2027.

How to apply
Contact a French institution offering an eligible programme and ask about its Eiffel selection process immediately. Do not treat the national institutional deadline as your personal deadline: universities need time to select and submit nominees.
